Personal
Note from the Executive Director
I
trust that this training course will prove beneficial to you in your own
personal and organizational context. Something exciting can happen to us
individually and organizational as a learning cohort that can be
life-changing and productive for many years to come. There is a
wonderful feeling of accomplishment that comes when we sit down with the
biblical text, attune to its message, alert to its human authors, and
ultimately – the divine Author, and sensitive to the message of the text
– then and now. Since one of the purposes of this Cultural Exchange and
Training Program is to provide the tools to develop and empower the
church and the community to advocate for themselves, it is appropriate
that we look at all aspects of Christian development.

The
vision of Southern Asia/Africa Mission Project is to empower
leaders to establish, renew and invigorate the souls of
their organizations through biblical leadership principle in
order to teach the church and the community to advocate for
themselves while bringing glory to God.
Objective of the Training:
A
study of biblical principles concerning the development and exercise of
Christian leadership of organizations, this training program objective
is to utilize holistic approaches to encourage the personal development
of a normative Christian world view as it relates to leadership of any
form of organization.
Each year SAAMP sponsors delegations from
Asia and Africa to the United States to come and study our
programs and methods. They are well received by the
community as they are introduced to the educational,
business and healthcare systems that are available here in
the United States. The exchange program's primary focus is
on Christian development, personal development and
career development. After
the delegate complete their training they return to their
respective countries to apply what they have learned. This
too is a part of the developmental approach to urban
missions.
