VISITATION MINISTRY
 
Mission Statements: Taken from the great commission found in Matt. 28: 18-20 and also Jesus' admonition to all saints in caring for one another found in Matt.25:35-36

This Ministry meets weekly and does several kinds of visits which includes the following:

1. ENCOURAGEMENT VISITS: designed to lift up and encourage those who may be weak in the Faith and who may be dealing with some challenges in their daily Christian walk.

2. BEREAVEMENT VISITS: This visit is designed to give support to families who are
Grieving as a results of having the recent loss of a family member.

3. SICK VISITATION: These visits are made in individual homes, care homes and hospitals so as to lend our support, prayers, encouragement and assistance during times of illness and periods of recovery.

4. HOME BIBLE STUDIES: Weekly visitors to our services are given a copy of the sermon of the day and offered an in home Bible study free of charge. This team volunteers it's services in conducting these one-on-one home Bible studies.
* In addition to these visits we have a quarterly fellowship among the team members and spend
Time eating but also discuss ways in which we can improve our serve for greater effectiveness.
Periodically this Ministry does some community door-knocking locally [in search of home bible study opportunities] and we assist other Congregations when called upon.
